Today was the long awaited ice cream expedition with the awesome classmates, Bexs and Steph. Initially, we planned to visit 7 ice cream parlours all over Singapore in a day. But we only went to 3 parlours instead because our stomachs went a lil quesy after the third. We went to Haato ice cream parlour first. It is situated in Nex shopping mall at Serangoon. I had Mocca Almond. Bexs had Rum Raisin and Steph had Macademia. The ice cream serving was ALOT and the ice cream was kinda so-so only. It's more like Gelato ish to me.

Next, we went to Ice Cube at Chomp Chomp. This was our favourite parlour among all the 3 we went today. Firstly because the place had cute a good ambience and secondly, all the ice cream flavours were really nice!

We were spoilt for choices so Bexs and I got double scoops. Mine was Honey Walnut (i don't remember the name) and Caramel with Butterscotch sauce. Bexs had Malt Krispies with Caramel while Steph had a single scoop of caramel. All of us had a scoop of caramel each because it was really nice.

Moving on, we went to our third destination, The Ice Cream Chef at Jalan Kuras. We got lost. It was situated at some ulu pandan private property stretch. We had to ask around for directions. The fun part was walking up the long stretch of road as you can see in the picture above. It was like a semi hill ish? Whatever it is, we enjoyed the walk because we had to burn the calories we've put on from the last two parlours we went.

Frankly speaking, I'm not a fan of The Ice Cream Chef. To me, the ice cream sucks. There are lots of local flavours there. I swear, I hated the taste. I ended up buying Milk Tea ice cream which I didn't finish eating it at all. Took lots of pictures there because the place had really good lighting. Did a short interview with one of the staff there for my News release as well.

Our ice cream: Milk Tea, Creme Brulee and Chocolate Hershey.

Since all three of us can't take in anymore dairy, we decided to head to town to have dinner instead. Steph recommended we try Raindrops Cafe at Scape. When we reached the place, there weren't any customers at all. It was really weird but we still had our dinner there. hehe. With only the 3 of us in the cafe, we had all the attention from the male waiters to chefs. Kinda like royal treatment. The food there was not bad as well. Then walked a lil around town and home sweet home.

I swear it was the best day ever. Ice cream plus awkward girls can only mean one thing, a great time.
